Responsibilities

  • Configure GA4 properly, events, conversions, audiences (not just defaults)
  • Build cross-channel dashboards in Looker Studio blending ads, email, ecommerce, and CRM data
  • Set up conversion tracking: GA4 events, Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion actions, Tag Manager basics
  • Maintain UTM discipline and document naming conventions across client accounts
  • Pull and structure weekly/monthly KPI reports with written analysis, not just numbers
  • Diagnose attribution discrepancies between platform-reported and actual revenue
  • Maintain KPI hierarchies and dashboard structures the team can trust over time

Not responsible for

  • SQL queries, Python, or data warehousing (handled by Data Scientist, Beam doesn't place this role)
  • Optimizing inside ad platforms (handled by Paid Media Specialist)
  • Strategic decisions or fractional CMO-level recommendations
  • Building custom analytics infrastructure or backend data pipelines
  • Acting as the agency's single source of truth on attribution strategy
